Small businesses in Asheville and all of Western North Carolina are still open and need your support! We encourage you to shop local during your stay. If you're not staying with us, that's fine. Many of these small businesses offer options for online shopping as well. You can buy wherever you are. Every purchase helps our region recover faster!

Their warehouse was destroyed in the flood, but they still offer a fantastic selection of teas. They're perfect for seasonal gifts. Plus, this is a woman-owned business.
French Broad Chocolates
Who doesn’t love chocolate? Unfortunately, their location on Riverside Drive was completely flooded. Provide support for this beloved local favorite.
Biltmore Estate Wine
This isn't technically a small business, but it's still a staple of the local community. The Biltmore is local and offers great options for gifts. Show your support.
Kind Hearted Goods
Located in the heart of the River Arts District, which was devastated by the flood, this store supports 21 local small businesses, 17 of which are women-owned and eco-friendly.

There There is selling “With love from Asheville” hats and tote bags to benefit local artists. It's a great way to provide support and get a gift worth giving!
Highland Brewing
Highland Brewing Company offers a wide range of merchandise and beer. This local brewery also supported relief efforts by using their warehouse as a donation site.
The Wedge Brewing
Known as the River Arts District’s community brewery, their buildings were destroyed by the flood. You can help them get back on their feet with your support today.
Hi-Wire Brewing
This craft brewery, also in the River Arts District, was severely impacted by the flood. You can provide support to help them recover and get back to business as usual.
Provisions Mercantile
This modern-day mercantile offering themed gift baskets featuring local products. For example, their bourbon-themed basket includes goodies like Poppy’s Popcorn, Sugar Mama’s Bourbon Balls, and more.
Poppy's Popcorn
This is a personal favorite of Bellflower Management! This woman-owned business is known for handcrafted popcorn. As an added bonus, 20% of every order supports hurricane relief efforts for staff and the community.
